The wall pro has fantastic range.
Ideal for new or retrofit installations the unifi ac in wall is designed to convert an ethernet wall jack into a dual band 802 11ac wi fi access point with two gigabit ethernet ports.
The unit is powered via poe and is designed for roof mounting although works great on a wall or sitting on a desk.
The wall was being decorated so i had to make the right holes in it ahead of time.
From an aesthetic and practical point of view the ac in wall is great it s got a data plus poe point which makes me think this device was designed primarily for hotel rooms and not really for whole home coverage.
It s a replacement for the uap ac lite and it s currently in the early access store for 99 since then they also added wi fi 6 replacements for the ac iw hd uap ac lr beaconhd and uap ac mesh.
For the price it is hard to beat the value.
The back plate offers multiple mounting holes for use with a variety of 1 gang electrical wall boxes.
