Sunsetter awnings are motorized units that extend over windows or porches to provide extra shade on sunny days.

If not replace the cr2430 battery.
Press and hold my for 8 seconds the light should blink the entire time.
The multi channel remote transmitter must be programmed to the light control box the first time the led light system is plugged in.
Paper clip or other small pointed object.
Sunsetter recommends channel 1 be used to operate your awning and channel 2 be used to operate your led light system unless you did not purchase a motorized awning then use channel 1 to operate your led light system.
Verify that the red led light on the remote transmitter comes on when you press and hold one of the buttons marked with an up arrow a down arrow or the word my if the red light does not come on at all or blinks for less than five seconds you will need to replace the battery with a new battery 3v lithium cr2430.
If not replace the cr2430 battery.
If it does continue to the next step.
The awnings are operated with buttons on the motor control or by a remote control.
If the red light does not come on at all or blinks for less than 5 seconds you will need to replace the battery see care and maintenance section on page 15.
Press the neutral middle button on the transmitter.
